After weeks of wondering just how to manage the "Schengen Shuffle" with our travel in and out of Italy (see http://www.schengenshuffle.com/), it finally dawned on us that Joe's Irish (and EU) citizenship opens the door wide for both of us to enjoy unrestricted visits and residence.

The other side of adventures
Ah yes....the packing!!
Our kids and grandkids will be using the extra rooms
in our shared family home whilst we're away,
so we're making space for them
to spread out and enjoy it.
(Having a good clear-out too!)
Bittersweet goodbyes
It's hard to leave them, but always a joy to share a coffee and catch-up with our dear Afghani friends,
whose new lives in Australia are now established and who can look to the future with confidence.
